Terms of Service

Last updated: March 22, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using MyHoodClean ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What the Service Does

MyHoodClean is a web application that helps kitchen exhaust cleaning companies manage compliance documentation, customer records, job reports, invoicing, and scheduling. The Service generates reports based on data you provide.

3. Early Access

The Service is currently in early access. Features may change, be added, or removed. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may experience downtime, bugs, or data issues during this period.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of all data you enter, including compliance reports, checklists, and customer information. MyHoodClean generates reports based on your input — the accuracy of compliance documentation is your responsibility as the service provider.

You are responsible for maintaining your account security, including your password.

5. Compliance Disclaimer

MyHoodClean is a documentation tool, not a compliance authority. Reports generated by the Service include fields consistent with NFPA 96 requirements, but we do not guarantee that reports will satisfy all local, state, or federal compliance requirements in your jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to verify that your documentation meets the requirements of your local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

6. Data Ownership

You own all data you enter into the Service, including customer records, job reports, photos, invoices, and settings. You may export your data at any time using the export function in Settings.

7. What We Do With Your Data

We store your data securely to provide the Service. We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyHoodClean and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of revenue, loss of data, compliance violations, fire marshal citations, insurance claim denials, or any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim (which during early access is $0).

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes. We will attempt to provide notice before termination when possible.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
