1. What We Collect

When you use MyHoodClean, we collect:

• Account info: Email address and account credentials. Password handling is provided by Supabase Auth; we do not receive your plaintext password.
• Company info: Company name, address, phone, email, license numbers, tax ID — what you enter in Settings
• Customer data: Restaurant names, addresses, contacts, kitchen profiles — what you enter for your customers
• Job data: Cleaning checklists, conditions, notes, deficiency reports, grease depth readings
• Photos: Before/after photos you upload during jobs
• Signatures: Customer signatures captured on screen
• Location: GPS coordinates at job start (only if you grant permission)
• Invoice data: Amounts, due dates, payment status
• Billing data: Your Paddle customer, subscription, and transaction identifiers; selected plan; subscription status; and billing dates. We do not receive or store full payment-card details.

2. How We Use It

We use your data only to provide the Service:

• Store and display your customers, jobs, and reports
• Generate PDF compliance reports and invoices
• Calculate compliance due dates
• Sync your data across devices

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose other than providing the Service.

3. Service Providers

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with service providers when necessary to operate the Service:

• Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage).
• Cloudflare (web hosting, edge security, and delivery).
• Paddle (merchant of record and subscription billing). Paddle processes checkout and payment information; MyHoodClean receives the billing identifiers and status needed to provide your subscription.
• Resend (transactional email delivery), when we send account, report, reminder, or billing-related emails.
• Google Maps and Places (address search and map features), when you use those features.
• fal and its AI model providers (including Anthropic models routed through fal), when you submit content to the AI assistant. Do not submit information you do not want processed by that feature.

4. Data Security

Your data is protected by:

• Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Provider-managed encryption at rest where supported by our infrastructure providers
• Account access controls designed to limit access to authorized users
• Password handling through Supabase Auth; MyHoodClean does not receive plaintext passwords

5. Data Retention

Your data is stored as long as your account is active. Deleted items are soft-deleted (hidden but retained for compliance purposes). If you delete your account, we will delete all your data within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access all your data (visible in the app)
• Export all your data (Settings → Data → Export)
• Delete your data (delete individual records or contact us for full account deletion)
• Correct your data (edit any record in the app)

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. We'll notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notice.
